Description

Aalto pendant A331 "Beehive", white - chrome from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 7,486,000. Artek's A331 pendant lamp, also known as the Beehive, is a beloved Finnish design classic created by none other than Alvar Aalto. Its distinctive, rounded shape – inspired by a beehive – is composed of a white-painted aluminum shade and polished chrome-plated steel rings, which softly filter light into beautiful striped patterns. Emitting a gentle, diffused glow, the A331 pendant light is ideal for illuminating dining areas or living spaces, either as a standalone piece or arranged in groups. Introduced in 1953, the Beehive was first seen in the interiors of the University of Jyväskylä, for which Aalto originally designed it. Since then, the A331 lamp has brightened countless homes in Finland and internationally, becoming one of Artek's most iconic lighting designs. With its sculptural presence and timeless Aalto elegance, the Beehive draws the eye even when the light is switched off. Imported pendant lamps piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide.
