Description

Birds by Toikka Chiffchaff, turquoise from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 1,232,000. Iittala's Chiffchaff glass bird from the Birds by Toikka collection is a small and lively songbird dressed in turquoise. Crafted from translucent glass, the bird's colors come to life, changing with the light around it. The bird is hand-crafted, making each individual one-of-a-kind – just like their natural counterparts. The first glass birds of the Birds by Toikka collection were designed in 1972 by Professor Oiva Toikka, renowned for his unique contribution to Finnish art glass over the past half-century. Each bird is a mouth-blown, unique individual, signed with the artist’s name. The passing of time enhances the value of these art objects – that is why Birds by Toikka are cherished and valued gifts and irresistible to collectors around the world.
