Description

Birds by Toikka Curlew, sand from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 2,675,000. Iittala's Curlew is an elegant decorative bird with a wavy pattern in matte glass. The wading bird joined Iittala’s glass bird family in 1999 in a maroon color, but the subdued sand-colored plumage was introduced in 2023. This feathered glass friend is quite large in size, making it an impressive gift or a striking element in your own home decor. The first glass birds of the Birds by Toikka collection were designed in 1972 by Professor Oiva Toikka, renowned for his unique contribution to Finnish art glass over the past half-century. So far over 400 species have been created, some of them more enduring in production than others. Each bird is a mouth-blown, unique individual, signed with the artist’s name. The passing of time enhances the value of these art objects – that is why Birds by Toikka are cherished and valued gifts and irresistible to collectors around the world. Imported other home decor piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide. Order on WhatsApp +256 705 697889.
