Description

Birds by Toikka Waiter, Seville orange from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 2,261,000. Oiva Toikka’s beloved Waiter bird appears in a new, radiant orange plumage. The Waiter continues Iittala’s long-lasting tradition of glassblowing. Since its founding in 1881, the company has evolved from a glass manufacturer into a beacon of Finnish design. Professor Oiva Toikka’s iconic Birds by Toikka collection is a testament to this heritage: the first birds were designed in 1972, and since then, the flock has grown to include more than 400 unique creations. Each bird is mouth-blown at the Iittala glass factory by a team of up to five skilled glassblowers. Unique individual pieces are then signed with the artist’s name for authenticity. The passing of time enhances the value of these art objects – that is why Birds by Toikka are cherished and valued gifts and irresistible to collectors around the world. Imported other home decor piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide. Order on WhatsApp +256 705 697889.
