Description

Cave Lion poster, 40 x 30 cm from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 133,000. Teemu Järvi's Cave Lion poster features the thick-furred big cat that once roamed the mammoth steppes during the Ice Age. Slightly larger than today’s lions, the cave lion was both feared and revered by Ice Age humans. The species disappeared around 14,000 years ago, likely due to climate warming and a decline in prey animals. The illustration is part of the Giants of the Ice Age series, originally created by Finnish artist Teemu Järvi for the exhibition of the same name at the Heureka Science Center. Printed in Finland using offset technique on environmentally friendly matte paper, the poster pairs beautifully with wooden poster hangers – the 40 cm size fits this design best. Imported posters piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide. Order on WhatsApp +256 705 697889.
