Description

Drops table, smoked oil oak from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 5,264,000. Aakjaer Furniture's Drops table brings the functional spirit of Danish design to the living room or bedroom. The slender oak side table stands on three legs and is far more practical than its small size indicates. The tabletop uses intarsia, a marquetry technique dating back to the Renaissance. Intarsia is usually known for its lavish floral patterns, but Danish designer Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen went the other way entirely, letting the natural grain of the wood do the talking. Originally designed in the 1960s, the Drops returned to production in 2023, and the design has hardly aged a day. The table offers a handy storage space and keeps magazines, books, and small decorative pieces close at hand. Imported coffee tables and console tables piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide.
