Description

Kastehelmi jar 116 x 114 mm, clear from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 165,000. Iittala's Kastehelmi jar is part of the popular glass collection designed by Oiva Toikka. The glass jar comes with a plastic lid in matching color, and it can be used in table settings, as a canister for storing food or as a decorative item. The Kastehelmi collection came about in 1964, when Oiva Toikka explored ways to conceal joint marks in pressed glass. The result was a design featuring rings of delicate glass droplets that resemble dewdrops glistening in morning light. Kastehelmi, Finnish for dewdrop, has since become one of Toikka’s most beloved series of glassware. Imported other home decor piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide.
