Description

Nesso table lamp, ruby red, special edition from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 1,977,000. Artemide's Nesso table lamp was designed by the Italian architect Giancarlo Mattioli together with Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova, a collective of young architects. Flowing and harmonious in form, the lamp breathes the design language of the futurism that swept through 1960s Italy, combined with influences drawn from nature – the silhouette brings to mind a broad-capped mushroom. Launched in 1967, Nesso is considered an international icon of futuristic and democratic design, and it features in the collections of New York's Museum of Modern Art, among others. It grew out of modernism's esthetic shift and made use of production methods that were completely new at the time, yet it still looks refreshingly current – and its striking, wide form turns heads on a living-room table or placed straight on the floor. The deep red, high-gloss lamps of the Ruby Red Collection are available for a limited time only. Imported table lamps piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide. Order on WhatsApp +256 705 697889.
