Description

Pavilion AV5 lounge chair, lacquered walnut from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 3,661,000. &Tradition’s Pavilion AV5 lounge chair merges together a wide, softly bent veneer seat and slender steel tube frame with armrests. Pavilion lounge chairs create harmonic ambience in groups by a coffee table or as individual highlights of the room. Andersen & Voll designed the first Pavilion chair for mass seating at the Langelinie Pavilion, located on the castle grounds of Copenhagen’s Kastellet fortress. Langelinie Pavilion has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, and its resilient spirit inspired Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll to create a strong, durable chair with a tender soul. Steel tube chairs are often based on fixed angles, but Andersen & Voll wanted to give the Pavilion chair a freer, flowing form. Despite the robust steel frame, the chairs of the Pavilion collection have an airy and poetic feeling. Imported armchairs piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide.
