Description

Pieni Unikko seat cushion, pear - off-white - melon from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 378,000. Add comfort and a pop of pattern to your seat with Marimekko’s Pieni Unikko seat cushion! The Unikko pattern came about in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced in public that no floral fabrics would be designed at Marimekko. Maija Isola did not accept rules or restrictions and designed, in protest a complete collection of bold floral patterns: Unikko, a Finnish word that means poppy. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known patterns and is recognized worldwide. The round, padded seat cushion is an easy way to refresh the look of a chair or stool while adding extra comfort. It’s covered with durable cotton canvas, which can be removed and machine-washed when needed. Imported pillows & cushions piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide.
