Description

Piirto Unikko cushion cover, 55 x 55 cm, off-white - peach from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 253,000. Marimekko's Piirto Unikko cushion cover features Maija Isola's iconic floral pattern in a fun new interpretation: you can only see the outlines of the famous flowers! The square Piirto Unikko cushion cover is made of jacquard woven organic cotton that has been printed in Helsinki, Finland. Please note that the covers are made using the entire length of the fabric, which means that the pattern placement and colors may vary. The Unikko pattern came about in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced in public that no floral fabrics would be designed at Marimekko. Maija Isola did not accept rules or restrictions and designed in protest a complete collection of bold floral patterns: Unikko, a Finnish word that means poppy. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known patterns and is recognized worldwide. Imported sofa covers piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide. Order on WhatsApp +256 705 697889.
