Description

SW50 sofa, 4-seater, oiled oak - GUBI Harp 24 Ivory from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 31,547,000. GUBI's SW50 sofa represents Danish modernism at its purest. Designed by Illum Wikkelsø in 1959, the charm of the sofa lies in a contrast: plump, generous cushions resting on a handcrafted oak frame with slender, rounded legs. Wikkelsø created the sofa for Søren Willadsens Møbelfabrik as part of its lounge collection, and lounging really is what this four-seater does best, with foam-filled seat and back cushions wrapped in a soft cotton blend fabric. The SW50 sofa has a film credit to its name, too. A red version appeared in Jean-Luc Godard's 1963 film Le Mépris, starring Brigitte Bardot. So if your living room could use a little cinematic glamor without sacrificing an ounce of function, the SW50 sofa is a very good place to start. Imported sofa sets piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide. Order on WhatsApp +256 705 697889.
