Description

Utrecht lounge chair, dark red Ortigia 13L652, blanket stitching from Lucky Interiors Uganda, priced at UGX 22,271,000. Cassina’s Utrecht lounge chair, designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1935, is a true icon of modern design. First introduced at the Metz & Co department store in Amsterdam, the bold yet elegantly balanced armchair showcases Rietveld’s visionary approach to form and structure. Despite its solid, sculptural presence, the Utrecht armchair appears remarkably light and dynamic. This is thanks to the lounge chair's innovative construction, where only the base of the armrests and the rear edge of the seat touch the floor. The sharp 90-degree armrests create a striking contrast with the chair’s angled silhouette, making it a statement piece in any setting. Imported armchairs piece, delivered in Kampala and countrywide.
